A by-election to the 56th Parliament of the United Kingdom for the constituency area of Ogmore.

Labour hold by Christopher Elmore with a majority of 8,575 - 36.4% - on a turnout of 42.8%.

An electorate of 55,027, having a valid vote count of 23,532 and an invalid vote count of 77.
